Duration: July 2020 – June 2021 Funded by: StopTBPartnership CFCS Round 9 Activities: Develop contextualized guidelines and tools (including digital platform) available to possibly scale the TB Survivors engagement intervention. Enable 06 BMUs and their staff for TB Survivor engagement and patient-responsive TB care Enable 200 TB Survivors to make TB care responsive to patient needs/ preferences. ≥1200 treated TB patients (i.e. Survivors) contacted, informed and offered to join TB Survivors’ Forum and its digital platform. Enable 200 TB Survivors to conduct 400 community awareness sessions to help reduce TB related stigma and to improve care seeking behavior Outputs: Contextualized guidelines and tools (including digital platform) available to possibly scale the TB Survivors engagement intervention. 06 BMUs enabled for TB Survivor engagement and patient-responsive TB care ≥200 Survivor Forum Representatives engaged to make TB care responsive to patient needs/ preferences. TB patients: ≥600 joined digital platform to access peer-support for treatment adherence, infection control and psychological well-being challenges. 400 advocacy and awareness sessions conducted by TB survivors to help reduce TB related stigma and to improve care seeking behavior Qualitative outcomes Evidence generated and disseminated on effectiveness and feasibility of TB Survivors’ engagement for supporting the care of TB patients and making TB care responsive to patient needs
