Less than desired level of TB case finding at public facilities; a network of qualified private practitioners in urban settings; engagement for enhanced TB case finding.

  • Districts: 2 selected districts of Punjab.
  • Activities:
    • Initial piloting of smoking cessation intervention at ten selected districts of Punjab.
    • Through public funding; scaling of smoking cessation intervention as a part of non-communicable disease control care package at more than 100 (sub) district hospitals in 36 districts of Punjab.
  • Outputs:
    • More than 150 public health facilities enabled for delivering smoking cessation counseling.
    • Outpatients getting smoking cessation intervention, as per program-endorsed protocols.
